Indian Regional Language Typing in Mobile 

If you want to type in your language with English read this article and follow the steps to Enable your language typing threw English. This keyboard app is free and provided by Google. This app will help you type in Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Odia, Kannada and Assamese and many more by transliteration method or Hinglish to Hindi. 

This is very simple method of type in Hindi (as well as other Indian languages also) in phone, this app will convert English in Hindi (or your language). Keep in mind English to Hindi typing is known as "Transliteration". Follow given steps to enable Hindi typing (or your language) in mobile phone:

Step 1: Download "Gboard" App by search in Google play store or download from link given below

Gboard - the Google Keyboard is available for free download, there may be little variation in settings in various mobile devices but overall process is same as given below.

Step 2: After installation open the "Gboard" app by clicking on "Open" button.

Step 3: When you first time open the app you will see "ENABLE IN SETTINGS" button, click on that button as showing in below image:

Step 4: Now you will see "Manage on-screen keyboards" and Keyboard options as shown as below image, You have to enable "Gboard Multilingual Typing". It may populate a Attention pop-up, you have to tick OK.

Step 5: Now click on "SELECT INPUT METHOD" and a pop-up will appear you have to choose "Gboard" as shown in below image.

Step 6: Now, open any app like whats app or messages etc to type in Hindi and click on setting icon and after that Languages options in below image.

Step 7: Now in Languages options, click on "Add Keyboard" button. After that Hindi (India) as shown in below image. 

Step 8: Now, you will see many keyboards option, you have to choose the "abc -> हिन्दी " and click on "Done" button. Now you will see language name appear on space-bar button. Long press space bar button to switch language. 

Step 9: Now on Change keyboard option select "abc -> हिन्दी " and start typing, what ever you type will appear in Hindi language as shown in below image. 

You can long press space-bar again to switch language. You can repeat the steps to add more languages and keyboards.

Note:

1. For windows XP Hindi language pack must be installed on system to run the software, for Hindi language pack you need Windows XP CD. After inserting windows XP CD in your system follow the instruction given here

2. For Windows 11 - Use Indic Input 3. Update and install Hindi language pack in windows 11 to configure the software.

3. For Windows 10 - Use the same software which is used in Windows 8. Update and install Hindi language pack in windows 10 to configure the software.

4. For Windows 7 & XP - Use Indic Input 1 (for 32 bit) or Indic input 2 (for 64 bit). Indic input 1 & 2 installation Process in Windows 7 and Windows XP.

5. Indic Input 2 has problem in spacebar. You have to press spacebar two times for give space. Solution : use Indic input 1 or Indic input 3, that will solve this problem.

Language Bar in Windows 7/8/10/11

Language bar used for change input language in Windows operating system. With the help of language bar we can use our computer system for multiple languages. By default our computer system comes with English language support, but we can use it for Hindi and any other language also, just download and install Hindi typing software and your system will be able to type in Hindi.

Some times language bar not appear or not showing on taskbar (the bar at bottom of screen). Let us see how can we enable language bar in Windows XP, Windows 7 systems.

If the language bar not showing in Windows 7, you can follow these simple steps and get your language bar. 

Step 1 : Go to the Control Panel -> Region and Language 

Step 2: Click on Keyboard and Languages Tab See below image:

Step 3 : Click on Change Keyboard Button as shown in above image and you will see new window with language bar tab -> click on language bar

Step 4: Check all check boxes and select Docked in the taskbar (It will show in taskbar) then click on apply and ok Now you can see language bar.
