If you don't know the extension of your image file, it's very simple to know, Just right click on image file, open properties and see the file type, it will show you the extension of image file. If your image extension is not in supported list than you have convert image file in supported file type to extract text from it.

Will the extracted text is 100% Correct ?

It will be depend upon the uploaded Image file quality. Mostly a clean image would gives you satisfactory result or sometime you need some editing to correct anything is missed by OCR. We recommend proof reading of extracted text and if any correction required you should made manually.
